Graphic Design – 1993 to 1996 Absolutely everything I learned in college has been superseded by 15 years in the industry, although it did form the foundation for everything that followed. While there I learned:

  • The basics of advertising, including illustration, corporate ID, marketing concepts, photography, design
  • Took electives in pottery, painting and sculpting
  • The industry was just moving into computers at the time – we learned PhotoShop 2.5, Aldus Freehand 4 and Aldus PageMaker 4 on pre-PowerPC Macs

Gotham Writer’s Workshop
[expand title=”Expand”]

Screenwriting – 2006 to 2009
Rated “Best of the Web” by Forbes, the Gotham screenwriting classes that I’ve taken four times now (one Level I, and the Advanced course three times) have done wonders for my writing, taking me from a talented writer with potential to where I am today… a talented writer with potential and more skill than I had before.

The courses covered the basics of screenwriting to more advanced techniques, and featured qualified instructors, weekly assignments and interaction and two major feedback assignments per ten-week course.
